The T-MAXX 3.3 combines the three principles of more engine, more power, and more speed with the over-the-top horsepower that the TRX 3.3 motor is so well known for. What this equates to is rocket-like, wheelie-popping launches from the starting line like none that you’ve ever seen. Add to this the TRX power charger and the on-board NiMH battery pack, and you’ve got a 4-wheeled monster that stands heads above the rest in its class.

Because of the torque resulting from this power upgrade, the wheelie bar is now considered to be a mandatory installed feature. Once heralded by RC Car Action Magazine as the “most powerful small block engine” ever developed, the TRX 2.5 has now had to take a back seat to the more powerful (“60% additional horsepower” more powerful, that is) TRX 3.3. This monster is bigger and faster than the 2.5 and affords the driver that sweet combination of increased responsiveness coupled with smooth linear power which delivers those rocket-esque launches off the starting line that we mentioned above. This newer, more powerful motor requires a higher skill level from its driver because it will tax your reflexes to the max with its extreme acceleration and speed.
The heavy duty addition of more horsepower coupled with additional refinements to strengthen the T-MAXX 3.3 makes this a fearless machine even in the hands of the track’s most punishing drivers. The new Revo®-spec driveline is a technological wonder in itself in that it utilizes an over-sized driveshaft that is “super-duty” sealed and sits on Revo® axle carriers. This newer breed of axle carrier features larger rubber sealed bearings as well as pivot balls that are securely sealed for performance that is literally a maintenance-free technology.
The innovative 2-speed forward and reverse operation of the OptiDrive® Electronic Shift Module is contained in a new, compact gearbox. This newer design has combined the efficient compactness of the T-Maxx® platform with the components of the internal transmission that has been performance-proven both on and off the track. It’s no secret why the T-MAXX 3.3 is now considered the best that it gets when it comes to power and durability both on and off the track.
