Traxxas REVO 3.3

When the REVO 2.5R was introduced, they said that it just couldn’t get any better than this — until they introduced the REVO 3.3 and realized they were wrong. The REVO 3.3 took all of the award-winning innovation of the 2.5R, was given an additional 60% more peak horsepower along with an overall 50% horsepower, and what resulted was a new level of power and speed.

An additional 30mm of chassis length has been added along with increased engine mounting strength and created a tighter suspension by installing progressive 2 rockers. All the upgrades have done nothing short of enhancing the REVO 3.3’s massive power output. Inside the transmission is a wide-ration two-speed shifting system which takes complete advantage of the TRX 3.3 power curve and equates to speeds in excess of 45mph. The REVO 3.3 is not for the faint at heart and was designed for the hardcore racer who loves knowing that this is the ultimate powerful machine on or off the track.

Basically it has come down to three aspects with the REVO 3.3 — MORE engine, MORE power, and MORE speed — it’s just that simple. When the TRX 2.5 was first introduced, it not only set the bar in these three areas, it rewrote the book on them. It was touted as one of the most powerful small block engines that had ever been tested. And now, the TRX 3.3 has added another 60% of peak horsepower. Is it time to once again say that it just doesn’t get any better than this?

The TRX 3.3 motor combines its industry leading smooth, linear power output and increased responsiveness across the RPM range, making this motor one that is designed for driver’s that have the highest level of skill. The power factor is such that only those drivers whose reflexes can handle extreme acceleration and top speeds should attempt handling this motor.

Since the horsepower for the REVO 3.3 and the TRX 3.3 motor were increased that 60% mentioned above, it became necessary to equip the car with a longer wheelbase that would provide additional support around the engine mounts. Equipped with the progressive 2 suspension rockers, this system provides the stability that foot-to-the-floor acceleration demands when you’re on the track. And even if putting the REVO 3.3 on a track isn’t what you are planning, rest assured that you can power it full throttle across the harshest terrain out there.
